conference feedback

I am just practising at blogging. The conference was very informative and I was impressed with the presenters knowledge of the real world of teaching in the classroom. They did not speak about theories of education worlds away from the reality of the classroom.
It is report time and athletics carnival so it is a hectic week.

Thanks all

Thanks for the opportunity to attend the leadership conference. Back at school I almost forgot to have a go at posting. Reports and wot not getting in the way.

Leadership Conference

Thanks Martin for all the work with the conference and for the forwarding of papers and photos etc. It was a good day. The short sharp deliveries on a range of topics kept participants focused. Well done. regards, David Virtue

Conference Concluded

We hope you all have a great time at the Conference and picked up some new ideas to use in your respective departments.

I am in the process of putting together the photos, papers, audios and PowerPoints for the Conference. They will appear in a Proceedings section of the Conference Webpage in the next few days.

I just thought I would let you know that at almost the exact same time in the UK was the first Edublog Conference. If you look at their Conference blog you can see we are moving in the right direction.

Thanks to the three people that have left comments so far. Please leave a comment or make a post.

cheers Martin

Conference Venue

Hi all,

I went to visit the Conference Venue yesterday. I have a little gallery of photos for you to view. There is parking in the hotel for a fee and parking in P6 outside the hotel as well the normal P1 parking. Outside the hotel are 2 hour parking spots.

For those who arrive early there is a Muffin Break shop outside and inside downstairs there is a cafe area for you to use. Our Conference Area is up stairs to the right when you enter the foyer. Cheers Martin
